How to Get More Comments

March 2, 2007 at 2:43 pm (Uncategorized)

The purpose of this blog entry is to get more comments from you, the reader. Now what’s the best way to get someone to notice one blog in a haystack of other blogs? Well i got this idea, for one: lies.

Pure and simple. If i make up something in this entry that’s a blantant lie about a celebrity, say:

“BRITNEY SPEARS PUNCHES A NUN IN CENTRAL PARK! PICS AND EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS HERE!”

Well, then someone who searches for Britney in Google may just happen upon this entry. Same could be said if i went ahead and mentioned:

“ANGELINA JOLIE ADOPTS VIATAMESE WAR VETERNAN?! MORE ON THE BACKGROUND OF THE CHILD HERE!”

That one was nice because it was losely based on truth. The bottom line is, stuff that like can pull people into blogs without a second though and maybe even get them pissed enough to comment. Good/bad idea?

Probably because I say they’re lies within the post, but for all i know, a ton of people DID come to my site after Googling Britney Spears, saw that it was a blatant lie and left immediately. The most activity I got on the site was around 9 people, and that probably includes me a lot as well. […]
